Brooke Shields began her career as a child model, making her first stroll down the catwalk at age three.
Although the first feature film she appeared in was the murder mystery "Alice, Sweet Alice", her breakthrough came in 1977 when she portrayed the 12-year-old prostitute, Violet, in Louis Malle's controversial film "Pretty Baby".
Shields has been in many films including "King of the Gypsies" with Susan Sarandon, "Just You and Me, Kid" opposite George Burns, "Endless Love," "Brenda Starr," "Backstreet Dreams" and "Running Wild" with Martin Sheen and David Keith.
She has also appeared in a number of television movies including "After theFall", "Wet Gold", "Legends of the West", "Nothing Lasts Forever", "The Almost Perfect Bank Robbery". |
